Man charged after fleeing crash scene on foot

A man is facing several charges after driving impaired and fleeing the scene of a crash in Oro-Medonte Saturday evening.

Orillia OPP officers were dispatched to the scene of a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Forbes Road and Old Barrie Road shortly after 6 p.m. Police said witnesses said one of the drivers fled the area on foot. Three of the passengers in the other vehicle involved were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
