“To move Spenser Wilson forward and provide our customers with a higher level of service, we have searched for some time for an ideal partner to support us.

“Now that Spenser Wilson is part of a larger practice, we can promise greater continuity of service to our clients and better career prospects for our team, as well as our ability to attract new recruits.

“We also believe our customers will benefit, as the combined company will be able to offer a wider range of services, some of which were previously provided externally.

Streets managing partner, Paul Tutinadded: “The merger of Spenser Wilson Chartered Accountants & Business Advisers is the latest in our plans to expand our geographic reach and allows us to have a stronger presence in Yorkshire, following the recent merger of the Wakefield firm of Andrew Wright & Co and our long-standing firm. permanent office in Hull.

“We really look forward to working with Chris, Liz, Andrea and Sally to develop the firm and further establish it as a leading accounting, business and tax consultancy serving the needs of businesses and individuals across Yorkshire.”

“Taking into account a number of other mergers and acquisitions in progress, which include a number of practices across the UK, we are on track to achieve our £40m turnover target sterling by the end of the year.

“The profession is experiencing significant consolidation with increased levels of mergers and acquisitions. »
