A roller coaster ride is expected over the next week as we alternate between hot and cool, as well as dry and rainy.

Starting Monday, our forecast calls for increased clouds ahead of our next system, as well as high temperatures around 63 degrees. A sharp rise in temperatures is expected Tuesday as highs rise to around 75 degrees.

A quick burst of rain also appears likely Tuesday morning with only about 0.1 inch of rain expected. Temperatures remain warm Wednesday with temperatures just above around 77 degrees. Heavy rain also appears likely, but most of the rain is expected to wait until the evening and continue overnight.

Behind Wednesday’s system, much cooler air begins to seep into the region, with Thursday’s high temperatures falling back to around 61 degrees. Clouds are expected to generally erode throughout the day as high pressure moves back into our area.
