Motorists can expect intermittent ramp closures in both directions of I-96 between Kent Lake Road and I-275 on Friday and Saturday, November 1-2.

The intermittent closures will occur from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday and 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, according to the Michigan Department of Transportation.

The closures, which will last about an hour on each ramp, will allow crews to mark the roadway as part of a multi-year reconstruction of I-96 in western Oakland County.
