Holly Madison and Bridget Marquardt have revealed the only celebrity who didn’t pay them any attention when they were Hugh Hefner’s girlfriends.

Former Playboy playmates recalled frequently encountering a star who “acted as if we didn’t exist on any level in such a strange way.”

On Monday’s episode of their podcast, Girls Next Level, Madison, 44, and Marquardt, 51, recalled the tension between them and this particular celebrity, Pamela Anderson, at the time.

At the time, they were Hefner’s girlfriends and filming their series, The Girls Next Door.

Speaking about their season three episode, titled My Bare Lady, Madison – who opened up about her autism diagnosis late last year – said she was hesitant to bring up Anderson’s appearance at the screen because she was “afraid of people’s opinions”.

On Monday’s episode of their podcast, Girls Next Level, Madison, 44, and Marquardt, 51, recalled the tension at the time between them and this particular celebrity — Pamela Anderson; photographed in October 2010 in London

However, she said there was no “beef”, she just didn’t know what happened.

“It’s not a beef story, and it’s not like I want to denounce this person because it’s a little stupid thing,” she said before adding that she wanted to talking about the incident because she perceived it “differently” now.

“When I was 20, if someone was really rude or distant to me, especially on a regular basis, I thought it was a major problem,” she said.

Madison went on to explain that because she has now been diagnosed with autism, she sees these types of interactions with a “different” perspective.

She said that when she was a Playboy playmate, she often met celebrities, whether they were nice or not.

Madison explained that Anderson was part of the latter group.

“It was just that she did this weird thing where she would always approach Hef whenever she met him…And she would flatter him everywhere, and then he was surrounded by all these girls,” he said. -she declared before explaining that Anderson would not recognize her girlfriends.

“She would act like we didn’t exist on any level in such a strange way,” she said. “The only reason I’m talking about it is because I remember feeling like it was so strange that I wondered what it was.”

She said Anderson would ‘love everywhere’ Hefner but wouldn’t recognize his girlfriends

She said that later, Anderson would “recognize me a little bit towards the very end.”

“In the episode where she takes out the cake naked, she gives me a big hug,” she said. “But at first it was so distinct. And no one else was like that.

That’s when she talks about the friendly encounters she had with stars like Jenny McCarthy, Carmen Electra and Paris Hilton.

Madison said that at the time she assumed Anderson was close to Hefner’s ex-wife Kimberley Conrad, whom he divorced in 2010, or “maybe she was on a level of fame so strange where people always wanted something from her that she didn’t want.” I feel comfortable talking to people.

Madison also speculated that “maybe she already had an experience where she tried to talk to Hef’s girlfriends, and it went very badly.”

“I guess when people act like that, they just assume that we’re all just in it for the money and we don’t give a damn,” Madison added. “But that wasn’t the case with us.”

Then, Madison tried to clear things up and explain that she had no animosity towards Anderson and said she had empathy towards the Baywatch star.

“Look, I’m the most socially awkward person on the planet. I’m sure there are a million people, especially those from the pre-2004 mansion era, who would love to come forward and say what a fucking asshole I am. So, I understand, but also not, because it was so extreme and so every time.

While they were Hefner’s girlfriends, Madison, Marquardt and Wilkinson starred on The Girls Next Door for five seasons, from 2005 to 2009.

The sixth season followed three new girlfriends, including Crystal Harris, who married Hefner in 2012.

The founder and editor-in-chief of Playboy magazine died in 2017 at the age of 91.
