Rav Wilding, a regular on BBC One’s Morning Live, known for his insight into crime and scams, brings a wealth of expertise from his past as a police officer.

At 46 years old, he is not only a familiar face on television, he also has an impressive background in law enforcement.

He served eight years in the Metropolitan Police before trading his CID detective badge for the television studio.

The Crimewatch presenter, who also served in the British Army, has graced our screens on everything from Strictly Come Dancing to Scam Interceptors.

As for his life beyond the lens, Rav has remained low-key except for his red carpet appearances and social media posts pointing fingers at his love life.

For the past 11 years, Rav has been married to Loose Women producer Jill Morgan.

The couple began dating in 2012 and married in 2017 before welcoming their daughter Poppy in 2020.

However, in a candid revelation in April, Rav announced that he and Jill had split amicably last year.

He said: “For those asking… Myself and (Jill) separated amicably last year. We are focused on co-parenting our beautiful and much-loved daughter.”

Now Rav is said to be in love with Surrey Police detective Rebecca Mason, who he met at the end of October last year.

Rebecca is known for her televised musings on romance fraud on shows like Morning Live and the BBC‘s Ill Gotten Gains, which Rav co-hosts with Angellica Bell.

In June, she posted a montage of images from the past six months, featuring many cozy photos with Rav, including a photo of Rebecca sitting on his lap and another of the couple dining out with her parents.

She captioned it: “Well, well, well…almost half the year and oh my god…what a crazy half of the year it’s been.” ….bring on the next 6! I’m so excited! ! ! »

Questioning the nature of their relationship, one follower asked: “Cute pics! So are you and Rav dating?” Although Rebecca didn’t respond to the comment, she liked the post seemingly confirming their romance.
