Photos of the 1km-long line in front of this metro station in north Bengaluru have gone viral on social media. A user named Rajath took to X and wrote, “Absolute chaos in Nagasandra Metro! The queue extends to the Kennametal entrance (1 km). If the green line extension to Madavara had been inaugurated, this could have easily been avoided! Politicians are apathetic, citizens suffer.”

However, there is no tentative date as to when this crucial stretch will be opened to the public as it is still awaiting the official inauguration.

The elevated extension includes three new stations: Manjunathnagar, Chikkabidarakallu and Madavara. Once this section becomes operational, it is expected to improve connectivity for commuters traveling to key destinations in North Bengaluru.
