Tis the season for the 36th annual Christmas in Warrensburgh. The citywide holiday celebration in the heart of the Adirondacks will take place December 7-8, 2024.

Festivities include a citywide festival of lights, the opportunity to send letters to Santa with a special holiday postmark, and exclusive, limited-edition ornaments. Santa will be on hand for Pet Photos and Toyland, where children can meet him, enjoy a petting zoo and take pony rides. There will also be breakfast and lunch with Santa and other Christmas characters.

The holiday fun continues with church bazaars, cookie walks, local business open houses, book signings, wine and spirits tastings, and much more. Activities for children include craft workshops such as decorating gingerbread houses and ornaments, creating old-fashioned wooden toys, and making evergreen gifts.

Visitors can enjoy an indoor holiday market and craft fair, wagon rides, and a live performance by the Heavenly Metal Hand Bell Choir, all leading up to a festive Christmas tree lighting ceremony .

The limited edition ornament reflects this year’s theme “Star of Wonders, Star of the Night.” It is numbered, signed and dated.
