2025 Calgary Stampede poster revealed

The 2025 Calgary Stampede poster embodies the spirit and resilience that define the event, officials said Wednesday.

The submission, created by Calgary artist Elora Kiddie, 22, features barrel racer Kellie Jorgensen and her horse Salty.

Officials say the painting “celebrates the passion, courage and commitment” of all the competitors in the world’s greatest outdoor show.

“Its striking depiction of barrel racing speaks to the heart of our events, making this poster a powerful icon for the 2025 Calgary Stampede,” said Stuart O’Connor, Senior Vice-Chair of the Calgary Stampede Board of Directors. and new president.

Kiddie says the Stampede has always been an important part of her life and she used her enthusiasm for the event to help create the poster.

“I’ve dreamed of this moment for years, and seeing it come to life is something I will carry with me forever,” she said.

She is the seventh artist selected in the Stampede Youth Poster Competition.

In addition to showcasing her work at next summer’s event, Kiddie also received the $100,000 Dustin Peers Memorial Scholarship.
