BITS Law School invites applications for 5-year integrated law programs for the 2025 session

BITS Law School, Mumbai opened applications for its five-year integrated law programs for admissions in 2025 on Monday, November 11. Eligible and interested candidates can apply through the official website at bitslawschool.edu.in.

Admissions have been opened for BA LL.B. (Hons.), and BBA LL.B. (Hons.) with 120 and 60 seats respectively, at BITS Pilani, Mumbai Campus, as stated in a press release .

The programs have been designed as per the specifications of the Bar Council of India and are also recognized by it. The program is contemporary and emphasizes transdisciplinary thinking.

The programs also offer four in-demand specializations, namely Technology and Media Law, Corporate and Financial Law, Entertainment and Sports Law, and Alternative Dispute Resolution and Mediation.

Dr Ashish Bharadwaj, Founding Dean of BITS Law School, said the institution’s approach is based on helping students discover new ideas, problems and solutions in law and beyond.

He added: “BITSLAW advances research and thought leadership on upcoming and unresolved issues in technology and media law, which is one of four specializations we offer. »

At the same time, the institution stated that the program is based on a learning pyramid with 5 levels which are as follows:

  1. “Workplace Readiness” to master data, time management and work ethics skills
  2. “Learning beyond the curriculum” for cultural enrichment and exposure to the fine arts.
  3. “Mentor-mentee program” for dedicated mentoring to help each student navigate their residential life on campus.
  4. “Writing Center” to learn critical thinking, interpretation and legal writing skills.
  5. Remedial courses for students with academic difficulties to help them overcome academic challenges in a personalized way.

Admission Process:

The admission process at BITS Law School is based on the following parameters of an applicant:

  • Academic records (10th and 12th grade scores).
  • CLAT, LNAT, AILET, SLAT, MHCET LAW or BLAT (BITS Law Admission Test) law entrance exam results.
  • Co/extracurricular achievements.
  • Personal interview.

BITS Law School also partners with Sutherland Law School at University College Dublin, Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University, and Franklin Pierce School of Law at the University of New Hampshire.

Additionally, BITSLAW faculty are alumni of leading universities including IIT, JNU, National Law Colleges, University of Delhi, India; Warwick, Cambridge, Manchester, Leicester, Liverpool, Essex, SOAS in the United Kingdom; Goethe Frankfurt, GIDS Geneva, Tilburg, Munich, Max Planck Institute in Europe; Toronto, NYU, Columbia, Louisiana State, Queen’s University in North America; and Deakin, Monash in Australia, informed the institution.

Scholarships:

BITS Law School also offers merit, merit, means and diversity scholarships.

Additionally, there are three special Birla Endowment scholarships for legal studies. More than 50% of BITSLAW students benefit from some form of scholarship ranging from 15% to 100% tuition fee waivers, it says.

Additionally, the School has partnered with major public and private banks for educational loans at interest rates considered among the lowest in the country.
