Call for witnesses following fatal collision in Edmonton

Detectives are appealing for witnesses and any road users with dashcam footage to come forward following a fatal collision in Edmonton.

Shortly after 4.30am on October 27, a 28-year-old pedestrian collided with a car on the A406 near Meridian Way, N18.

Officers from the London Ambulance Service and London Air Ambulance, who attended despite the best efforts of emergency services, pronounced him dead at the scene.

His next of kin have been informed and he can be called Dickson Achiu.

The car stopped at the scene and the driver is assisting police with their investigation – there have been no arrests.

Detectives are appealing to anyone who witnessed the collision or anyone traveling on the A406 near Meridian Way at the time of the incident who may have captured the events on a dash cam to get in touch.
