Jamie Lee Curtis appears to be the latest Hollywood star to quit Elon MuskX’s social media platform.

This decision comes just hours after Donald Trump’s revelation. he asked Musk to lead his new Ministry of Government Effectiveness, which will be tasked with cutting government bureaucracy and regulations.

Earlier today, the U.K. Guardian newspaper announced he would no longer post content on X, calling the social media platform “toxic” due to the prevalence of conspiracy theories and its owner’s ability to use it to “shape political discourse.”

Other media and entertainment organizations and personalities that have announced their departure from X in recent days include the Berlin Film Festival, which said last week he would leave the platform on December 31, 2024.
