Infant Food Bank launches annual Christmas campaign in Sudbury

The Infant Food Bank launched its 16th annual All We Need for Christmas campaign on Thursday, aimed at raising funds and essential supplies for Greater Sudbury’s most vulnerable population: babies and infants.

Running through the end of December, the campaign includes several giving initiatives, including Fill-a-Crib, Fill-a-Car Seat and a virtual crèche, allowing community members to give in whatever way suits them better.

“We are always humbled by the incredible generosity of our community, especially during these difficult times,” said Cherie Bonhomme, executive director of the Infant Food Bank. “With each passing year we continue to face new challenges, but with the support of local businesses and residents, we can provide much-needed help to families in need. »

Petryna has long supported the campaign.

“We understand the challenges many families face, especially during the holiday season,” said Dave Petryna, President. “Every contribution, big or small, makes a real difference. If you can’t donate, help us spread the word. Together we can ensure that no baby or infant goes without this Christmas.

From November 20 to January 3, A&W will donate proceeds from every kids’ pack sold at all six locations in the Greater Sudbury area.

To participate as a business, sign up to host a crib or car seat to collect donations, or create a virtual crib to collect donations online. Visit allweneedsudbury.ca to register.
