It’s been six years since the tragic death of model and longtime friend Sean “Diddy” Combs Kim Porterand the couple’s twin daughters, D’Lila and Jessie, paid tribute to their beloved mother on the anniversary of her death on Friday (November 15).

“We can’t believe it’s been 6 years without you,” the duo captioned a black and white photo of Porter holding the newborn twins, kissing one in the air while the other rests on his shoulder. “We think about you every second of the day. We love and miss you so much that words can’t even explain it. We wish you were here with us but we know your spirit will be here forever!! We love you mom.

Last month, Amazon removed the 60-page bestseller Kim’s Lost Words: A Journey for Justice on the Other Side…a memoir believed to have been written by Porter. “The claims that our mother wrote a book are simply false,” Combs and Porter’s children said in the statement. “She did not, and anyone claiming to have a manuscript is misrepresenting themselves. Additionally, please understand that any so-called “friend” speaking on behalf of our mother or her family is not a friend, nor does he have her best interests at heart.

The statement continued: “Our lives were shattered when we lost our mother. She was our world, and nothing has been the same since she passed. Although it has been incredibly difficult to understand how she could be taken from us too soon, the cause of her death has long been established. There was no foul play. Grief is a lifelong process, and we ask everyone to respect our request for peace as we continue to deal with their loss each day.

Diddy was arrested on September 17 in New York on federal charges of sex trafficking and racketeering. Since then, he has been denied bail twice and will remain in jail until his trial.
