Nairobi man paralyzed after road accident says he would forgive his wife for cheating on her

Simon Wekesa Wanyonyi and his beautiful wife, Millicent Awuor, were randomly interviewed to find out their views.

One of the questions revolved around loyalty, given that the couple had defied the odds to be together for years.

Asked by TUKO.co.ke What would happen if one of them cheated, the Wanyonyi said he would forgive his wife.

“Sure, you’ll be mad at each other for a while. But then we’ll come and make up. So I’ll forgive the cheating,” he said weakly and half-heartedly.

Wanyonyi thanks his wife Awuor for not leaving him

When Awuor was questioned, she initially said she would forgive, but then changed her mind in a split second.

She pointed out that what her husband would do would hurt him and vice versa, adding that they had this conversation a long time ago.

The saloonist shared that she never left her man, even when he had a road accident that left him paralyzed, an attribute her husband praised and thanked him for.

“If it were other women, they would have left me. However, she was by my side at my lowest and I am grateful to her,” Wanyonyi shared.

Why was Awuor encouraged to leave Wanyonyi?

Awuor said she was encouraged by her friends to leave Wanyonyi, a wheelchair user, because of his condition.

“Even my children were asking if their father would be okay, and I kept telling them he would be okay. I can’t leave him because he is not only the father of my children, but when I met him at university, I saw that he was a caring man I can’t leave now,” she said.
