Expect road closures for the Ann Arbor Thanksgiving Turkey Trot

ANN ARBOR, MI – Ann Arbor’s annual Thanksgiving Day Race will close several city roads Thursday morning.

Roads will close at 5 a.m. and reopen at 11 a.m. on Nov. 28, the city said.

Runners in the Ann Arbor Thanksgiving Turkey Trot will travel a route stretching from Michigan Stadium to downtown. A map is available online.

A section of Main Street will be closed, from Liberty Street to Keech Avenue. The following streets will also be closed:

  • Liberty Street, from Division to Main Streets
  • Keech Avenue, from Main Streets to Greene Streets
  • Greene Street, from Keech Avenue to Davis Avenue
  • Davis Avenue, from Greene Street to Brown Street
  • Brown Street, from Davis Avenue to Hill Street​
  • Hill Street, from Brown Street to Division Street
  • Division Street, from Hill Street to Hoover Avenue
  • Hoover Avenue, from Main to Mary streets
  • Mary and Sybil Streets, from Hoover Avenue to Benjamin Avenue
  • Benjamin Avenue, from Mary to Sybil streets
