When did Prop Hunt arrive in CoD BO6?

The release date for Prop Hunt in CoD BO6 was Wednesday November 27, 2024.

The developers of Treyarch confirmed on social networks shortly after 18:00 GMT that the mode has become operational. In other words, you can play Prop Hunt right now!

Better yet, Treyarch has confirmed that the CoD BO6 Double XP Weekend was posted online at the same time. You will therefore earn additional XP by playing in Prop Hunt.

What to expect from Prop Hunt in CoD BO6

Returning players will know that Prop Hunt is one of Call of Duty’s silliest game modes: one player tries to disguise themselves as an inanimate object somewhere on the map, while another player tries to hunt them down.

The trap? No matter which prop you choose to hide from, you will whistle loudly every 30 seconds, otherwise the hunter wouldn’t have a chance! You can also use lures to try to confuse them.

In CoD BO6, Prop Hunt is available on the following platforms multiplayer maps:

• Lower Town

The official Call of Duty Blog describes BO6 Prop Hunt as follows: “Prepare for an infamous game of hide and seek, because the fan-favorite Black Ops party mode is back!

“Experience a multiplayer map as a prop or hunter. Props have one job; after a short period of time finding a hiding place, you must blend into the scenery like a random stage object, but with the ability to move… and whistle uncontrollably every 30 seconds. Just wait for the time to end and don’t attract the attention of the hunters, otherwise the game is over!

“Drop identical decoys to fool your enemies, change shape for a different scenery element, or throw a stun grenade at a hunter’s feet if your cover is about to blow.

“Meanwhile, the Hunters are there to scan the map for anything that looks out of place…or hisses…and then shoot it!
