After lowering corporate and personal income tax rates to take care of Gov. Jeff Landry’s fat cats, the Legislature raised the sales tax rate to make up the shortfall, which will have to be borne by people who can least afford it.

I will refuse to vote for anything passed in the special session and I will ask other voters not to do so. They should also vote against those who voted for these taxes.

It’s time for people to say no to Landry.
