FBI agent Jennifer Avila will testify Wednesday.

She investigated documents and emails between AT&T management and staff.

They looked into the idea of ​​hiring Eddie Acevedo as a subcontractor (consultant) for Tom Cullen. & Associates, so they don’t have to register it with AT&T.

In March 2017, AT&T President Paul La Schiazza asked Bob Barry to initiate the process regarding Acevedo’s deal and pay him $2,500 per month.

La Schiazza wanted to ensure that they would be recognized by “the powers that be” for their responsiveness in meeting demand.

Acevedo initially rejected the offer because he found it insulting.

He requested a payment of $3,000 per month to become an AT&T lobbyist in 2018.

HAS&T didn’t want to pay him a higher amount, so they finally convinced him to accept the original offer.

The judge also told the jury there would be no hearing Thursday or Friday.
