Bengaluru techie suicide case: Atul Subhash’s father pleads for custody of grandson after Nikita’s arrest

Atul Subhash’s father pleaded for custody of his grandson on Saturday (December 15), saying the family was worried about him.

This comes hours after Atul’s estranged wife Nikita Singhania, mother Nisha and brother Anurag were arrested for allegedly abetting his suicide.

The technician’s father asked where Atul’s four-year-old son was and appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and others to provide custody of his son. grandson.

At the same time, he also thanked the Bangalore Police for the arrest of the accused, further saying that he is yet to get justice as a new case has been filed in the name of his grandson for alimony.

“We don’t know where she kept our grandson. Was he killed or is he alive? We don’t know anything about him. I want my grandson to be with us,” the father questioned of Atul.

Atul’s brother Bikas Kumar Modi also expressed concerns over his nephew’s whereabouts and said two arrests in the case were yet to be made.

“Our biggest concern right now is that we don’t know where my nephew (Atul Subhash’s son) is. We didn’t find him in the photo released by the police. We want to know where he is .I thank the Karnataka Police for arresting these three…Two more arrests are in progress, I hope they will also be arrested soon…” Bikas Kumar Modi said.

Earlier, three people were arrested in connection with the suicide of Indian technician Atul Subhash, including his estranged wife Nikita Singhania, mother Nisha and brother Anurag for abetment to suicide.

The arrests came days after the 34-year-old technician accused Nikita and her family of extortion and harassment in a more than hour-long video and killed herself.

In the suicide note, Atul described in detail the mental agony he endured because of his wife and in-laws.

According to media reports, Nikita and her family have been on the run ever since the video shot by Atul went viral.

The police had registered an FIR against the accused with the Marathahalli police. After Atul’s wife Nikita absconded, a notice was pasted by the Bengaluru police outside her residence in Uttar Pradesh’s Jaunpur town, asking her to appear in the next three days.
