Chanel and Micah leaving the third season of The Ultimatum was a big part of the series and caused a nightmare for the producers. She even gave some insight into what she and the three other contestants on the show talked about before making the decision to leave.

Micah and Chanel were one in two couples who decided to pack their bags and leave the series in the middle of filming without any explanation. “Earlier today, Dave, Vanessa, Micah and Chanel met secretly off-camera,” a title card read. “That evening, surveillance cameras filmed them packing. Dave, Vanessa, Micah and Chanel quickly left, ending their experience abruptly.

On Instagram, Chanel detailed the conversation she had with Micah, Vanessa and Dave before leaving without a trace.

“There were certain situations and conversations that we had to do that made me really uncomfortable. And it wasn’t until I finally announced that I was leaving the experiment that I was told they were all optional when in reality, at the time, I didn’t want to. After filming for such long hours, I also found myself giving in to these things and at the end of the day I just couldn’t sit with myself because I felt like this wasn’t me. These were not things I would do. It just felt like a really big cock“, Chanel shared.

“I continued the experiment, but after a while I was like man, so many of these things are just going to be edited and screwed up and just squashed to look like something they’re not.”

The news was then relayed to Micah, Vanessa and Dave.
