The Kansas City Chiefs are less than a quarter away from the No. 1 seed for the AFC playoffs in January.

On the final play of Kansas City’s Week 17 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Christmas Day, veteran running back Kareem Hunt hit the target on a rushing touchdown that could have sealed a victory for the Chiefs.

After three closely contested quarters of play, Kansas City took an insurmountable lead when Hunt gave the Chiefs a 10-point lead.

Although Hunt has played a lesser role in Kansas City’s offense since Isiah Pacheco returned from the Chiefs’ injured reserve list, the former Toledo Rocket is still a force to be reckoned with in the running game .
