The brother of Prophetess Naomi Silekunola, former Queen of the Ooni of Ife, has spoken on the tragic incident that occurred during the Queen’s children’s party.

Reports had indicated that approximately 35 children lost their lives during a stampede at the Olori Naomi children’s funfair which was held on Wednesday, December 18.

In an interview with media personality Daddy Freeze, Prophetess Naomi‘s brother revealed that some people had camped overnight at the site in preparation for the Christmas party.

He further explained that in a bid to gain access to the venue and get gifts, some parents decided to throw their children over the fence, which led to an unfortunate stampede.

Following tragic eventshe revealed that Queen Naomi voluntarily presented herself to the police station, where she was subsequently arrested. He also expressed concern that his sister had been taken to court without notice, while a senior lawyer Nigeria (SAN) is handling his case.
