The presentations provided a deep dive into the state’s cultural and religious heritage, aiming to captivate and inspire travelers from around the world.

Lucknow The Uttar Pradesh Tourism Department showcased the spiritual and cultural richness of the heart of India at the prestigious World Travel Market (WTM) in London. The event, which began on November 5, saw a dedicated 60 square meter pavilion showcasing the spiritual appeal of Ayodhya, Kashi, Mathura and the upcoming Mahakumbh pilgrimage in Prayagraj.

The presentations provided a deep dive into the state’s cultural and religious heritage, aiming to captivate and inspire travelers from around the world.

In addition to its international reach, the national tourism department has participated in major global travel fairs, including ITB Asia in Singapore, JATA in Tokyo and PATA in Bangkok, strengthening its reputation as a growing global tourism destination.

On the last day of WTM, UP organized an engaging roadshow offering an overview of the region’s historical and religious links with Lord Rama and Lord Krishna, the sacred city of Kashi on the banks of the Ganges and its picturesque national parks. Tourism and Culture Minister Jaiveer Singh highlighted the importance of WTM in positioning the state on the global tourism map, attracting visitors from all over the world.
