50 Cent blasted for congratulating Donald Trump on his election victory

50 Cent is under fire for congratulating Donald Trump on his election victory, despite rejecting a multi-million dollar offer to perform at a recent campaign rally.

After the Republican candidate Trump, 78 years old, was elected 47th President of the United States early Wednesday, 50 Cent took to his Instagram to share two throwback photos of the duo together.

“I don’t care how the fight goes, I go with the winner. I still don’t know what’s going on congratulations! he captioned the post, then tagging his alcohol brands.

“*removes every 50 cent song from my playlist*,” one reviewer commented under the upload.

“Please name one thing you expect him to do that benefits black people. And explain how you will feel when he grants immunity to police officers who kill unarmed black men. I’ll wait,” someone else remarked.

“Brother hates his own people,” another person argued.

“Please 50. We don’t have money like you to tolerate/survive whatever this man is about to do,” another dissenter wrote.

“Why did you have to post that?” You said you stay out of politics. I’m so disappointed ,” wrote a fifth user.

50 Cent, 49, recently claimed on “The Breakfast Club” that he turned down $3 million to perform at Trump rally at Madison Square Garden in New York at the end of last month.

He was asked if he had been offered money to perform at the Republican National Convention in July, the musician nodded and said, “Mhm.”

He claimed none of those conversations went “far” because he was “afraid of politics.”

“When you get involved in this, no matter how you feel, someone passionately disagrees with you,” 50 Cent explained, adding that he also “stays away from religion.”
